The On-shaft Vibration Transducer is a contact type transducer which measures the
shaft vibration of large turbines for power plants. It measures the vibration of turbine
rotors using a speed transducer installed at the top of the vibration transmission rod
touching the rotor. In order not to damage the rotor, super-engineering plastic with
excellent anti-friction characteristics and low friction coefficient is used at the end of
the vibration transmission rod to greatly increase its operation life. It can also be
installed in any vertical position ±90°, thereby increasing the freedom of design. The
CV-851 is used as a speed detection transducer with improved maintainability.
